Small Space Interior design for a 3BHK in Sobha City, Bangalore
Sobha City
Location: Sobha City, Bangalore
Project Type: Turnkey Home Interiors
Challenge: Making a compact 3BHK work for a family of four
Here's something we hear a lot: "We love the apartment, but it's smaller than we'd like."
This family had the same worry. They needed a home that could handle daily life, host guests, and still feel open.
This 3BHK needed to handle two kids, visiting grandparents, and daily life without feeling cramped. Every room had to work harder.
Our Approach is always to Design Around Life and not Limitations
What We Did
A Living Room That Adapts
The living room needed to do a lot. TV watching. Reading. Hosting friends. Playing with the kids.
We designed a large sofa and TV unit with a bookshelf along one wall. But here's the smart part: ottomans tucked under the shelf. Pull them out when you need extra seating. Or grab one and sit by the bookshelf to read. When guests leave, they slide right back under.
A Dining Table With a View
Space was tight for dining. But we found a solution.
The dining table sits flush against a wall unit. For everyday meals, it works perfectly for four. When family visits, pull it out and it seats six comfortably.
We positioned it so you're always looking toward the balcony. And that view? It's worth looking at.
A Balcony Wall That Tells a Story
The family has a Radha Krishna art piece that means a lot to them. We didn't want it hidden in a corner.
So we commissioned a custom mural on the balcony wall. A large tree painting designed specifically to frame their art piece. Now it's the first thing you see from the dining table.
The Raised Bed Solution for kids room
One bedroom needed to fit two beds, a study area, and wardrobes. In a compact room.
Impossible? Not quite.
We designed a raised bed system. The bed sits higher up, easily accessible for kids and adults. Below it: full wardrobes. All that storage space that would normally eat into the room is now hidden under the bed.
The result? Plenty of storage. Maximum floor space to feel spacious and allow better movement. And a room that doesn't feel like you're tripping over furniture
