Adarsh Palm Retreat
Bespoke Luxury Interiors for a Bangalore Villa
Villa
When we first stepped into Nandita’s four-bedroom villa at Adarsh Palm Retreat, it was still a construction site. With concrete walls and steel bars forming the skeleton of her future home, we sat together to see where a wall might shift or a niche could be carved. Because we were there early in the build, every change could grow seamlessly with the structure. For us, projects like this are why interior design in Bangalore is so rewarding. We had the chance to shape a home with the client’s life and routines in mind, right from the very beginning. Nandita has a sharp eye for finish and proportion and she was there for every decision, walking through the half-built rooms, touching samples and imagining how light would fall on them. Those walks became the rhythm of the project.
As the rooms took shape, we began to fill them with pieces made just for her. Sofas were drawn to fit her living room, the dining table was sized for her family, beds and wardrobes were planned down to the handles. Nothing was picked off a shelf, everything was custom built. Working this way meant learning from Nandita’s attention to detail and trusting the slow process of making. By the time the final coat of varnish dried, the house felt lived in, even before the furniture arrived. It is a home that mirrors its owner’s calm patience and her love for thoughtful design.
